Chris Hannetel

Chris Hannetel is a partner at INLO Avocats specialising in corporate law (venture capital) and taxation.

After practising as a lawyer with Chammas & Marcheteau for four years, he joined INLO Avocats in January 2021. Chris Hannetel is also head of our Marseille office, which he opened in June 2022.

His main area of practice involves assisting clients with venture capital transactions (capital raising), setting up management packages (in particular business creator share subscription warrants (BSPCE)), structuring directors’ remuneration and assets, corporate restructuring (partial contributions of assets, mergers, disposals, etc.) and tax litigation.

Chris holds an LLM in International Taxation and a Master’s degree in Tax Law from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. He is currently a lecturer at HEC Paris.

An accomplished pianist, he is happy to take off his tax hat for a jam session with any musicians who cross his path.
